Books to Strengthen your Marriage
Why we loved it
This book was recommended to us while dating. When I say it completely changed our perspective for the better, I am not kidding. We were able to walk through so many day to day communication issues within dating and then marriage having the clarity we needed for our silly problems. We learned that the issue wasn’t our problem; it was the communication behind it that needed the true clarifying and deciphering.
Why we loved it
We understood the concept of this when we were given it to read in marriage counseling. However, this book took it way further and gave us a broader view of what each of the love languages meant. It strengthened our ability to find ways to love each other that we hadn’t thought of before.
Why we loved it
This book really put the overall purpose of marriage into perspective and didn’t let us stay mooney-eyed. It helped us see the reality of marriage for what it really is by reminding us to focus on the bigger picture.
